i started with a Marlin 795 .22 semi automatic rifle. i used a 36" flex cable i bought from tower hobbies. i found a leather lace on recoil pad on Ebay. and a set of European clothes pins that open an 1" wide also on Ebay. i bought an EZ-Pull trigger from Cabelas which reduces the pull of the trigger by %50. i bolted a leather strap with a "D" ring to the recoil pad. and used a hose clamp to hold another "D" ring on the barrel. i put a pad inside the hose clamp to protect the barrel.
